  • Remember the XS-XJ "Back Pack"

A few years ago when the XS-XJ club was in it's infancy, there was an idea to send a back pack around the world. It was passed around the US, then made it's way to the other countries. On it's journey, it collected memorabilia from all it's stops. I believe it was funded by a "patch" drive (which I still have) to pay for shipping to locations that could not be traveled via two wheels.

It made it to my house in CT, and since I was in the process of a relocation to MA, was relayed to another rider in MA. That was the last I saw or heard of it.

I was wondering if anyone has any info on the location of the back pack that made the trip around the world? The last I heard about it was Carlton Larson in Canada was getting it entered into a museum of some sort...

sound like a better Idea than trying to send a cold beer around the world. So does anyone know if the backpack made it?
