Yeah, saw that. It's one of those things where you wish you left it alone running, and now it's taken apart, and you have no idea where this and that is, etc. I'm guilty on that with a Suzuki GS 650 in my garage. Too bad, because it was a fun bike to putz around on.

I'm more curious how a single carb setup works on a inline four?

That setup works surprisingly well as I know from the ATP kit I had on my turbo.
Only downside was that it would either run well at lower revs or at higher revs and not both. But that was down to the prehistoric carb (in combination with boost) itself and not to the principle of one carb on a fourcylinder.... or a turbo.
The later, more expensive kits from Russ Collins or Rob Behn for instance did not have those problems.

Interesting. Btw, I noticed your Triumph. I just picked-up an '02 Daytona 955i CE. Have not rode it yet, as I'm in the midst of buying parts for mods.

Love these triples.. that's why I bought the MT-09 Tracer (FJ-09 for you guys). Bit more budget bike than the Thriumph triples but it has more grunt low down.
My 1200 is a four cylinder, they don't make them anymore..
