Sorry for the long time being out. Too many things going on...

Anyway, I got the XS running again to rebuild it for my son..
The XS11 has been stored for nearly 15 years, now it's time to rebuild the bike. But before I do, I decided to get her running..

And that's why I have been lurching the site to get the right info.. Amazingly, after 10 years, I stll am a member, and the old pasword still works..

Anyway, sort of back again, and a thank you to the board to get the needed info on the carbs..

Hey there Dutchy,

Congrats on getting it up and running again, as well as remembering your username and password. And you're lucky that your registration date is later. Due to a recurring glitch with the database system, I can't create NEW accounts again. So...I'm recycling OLD accounts....users that first registered around 2002 and also have not been back to the site since then, and also NEVER posted a message. I reassign that user account # to a new member's specs, and that has allowed me to keep registering new applicants these past few weeks.

One of our newer I.T. guys with lots of database experience and knowledge is aware of the problem, and hopefully will be able to AGAIN fix the database to allow new member account creations.

Nothing is without reason I guess... My son kept nagging to get the XS on the bench to start working on it..

Now that I've got her running it's time to rebuild her from scratch.. I already took some notes back then on how to strengthen the frame, but will do some more search if there have been some updates on that subject recently.
