Hello folks, Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I also wanted to let everyone know that I finally got my 1979 "Pig" back on the road. No major damage but did replace the handlebars that were bent up, replaced the instrument mount and replaced the steering head bearings. The shocks were also leaking but I was able to just tighten up the hardware and do a fluid change and all was good.
Since I had the front end apart I also did some paint and polish. She rode great and behaved very nicely in the curves.
I admit to being a bit nervous the first time back on two wheels since the accident but it did not take long to get back into the grove.
By the way Deborah is also doing much better and says hello.
