some corrections...i said that after 24 hours in the bed i got out...what i meant was ..12 hours after the surgery I got out of that bed...i had been in it over 24 hours...I stood on my feet watching TV for over an hour just to see if I could tolerate standing that long without the associated heaviness and I did...then I decided it was time to walk the ward...slowly ofc but the nurses were amazed and happy to see me already on my feet...I mean really...i wasnt sick before hand just dealing with the physical trauma from the surgery...
Looking closely at the incisions they are both 5" in length... and the main aneurysm was 6cms in size ready to burst...

I cant give enough praise for my Dr's and Nurses.. what wonderful people...the hosp and staff are committed to pain relief and if you need it you get it...right away...not 2 hours later after you are bitching and moaning for them to act...plus if the medication isnt enough you get more...no hassle no argument...just positive people in a negative situation...just amazing there are good folks that can do this day in and day out...I certainly could not... I certainly believe i would not have faired as well in a hosp. in NJ...Today is day 4 post op and I am feeling just great...I still feel like a punching bag but each day i become more ambulatory...Thank you all and Thank God...Amen!
