  • Another nail in tire!!!

    Put a new tire on,about 7 weeks ago ,,two days after\roofing nail!!.Today riding ,beautiful fall day.Stop to gas up,look down tire almost flat.(screw in tire).mistake was to put tube in for first repair!! Can't plug tire had to catch tow home.And compressor at station werd stem ,,to deep couldn't put air in.I am cursed.

    RideOn for instant tire protection(leave the dern tube out!) and perfect tire/wheel balance........4oz. per wheel out of an 8oz. bottle. Can be bought at ANY motorcycle shop or accessory shop.

      I agree Ride-on is great you have no idea something has stuck in the tire but there is a caveat.

      My cousin always used it in his Chevy 2500 but this summer on a long trip he had a tie down strap snag the inside wall of the tire. It tapped for a while and then like a rock in the tread eventually quit. The tire stayed up but it had damaged the steal cords. The tire slowly leaked but due to heating up from the sidewall damage the tire continued to rip inside and exploded giving him a blow out at 70 +. So even though you put it in don't depend on anything. Check your tires when you can or you have no idea what you are driving on.
      To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
