    Would make for good use if AC voltage at alternators is being considered. not necessary if dc voltage is being considered as a final test though.

      Geez Jerry, I ordered one of those diagnostic tools you posted about. Should be here any day now. Am I gonna have to get this too?
      Have been using those free Harbor Freight meters.

          Well, a volt meter that can also check continuity is a pretty basic tool for working on old bikes. Judging by the number of "my turn lights have a problem" threads I've seen over the years there are still some people who need to buy a meter. Hence the post.

            Hi Jerry,
            I have 3 multimeters. 2 analog and one digital. My left indicator still refuses to work and the headlight drains the battery even at highway speed.
            I bought a Concours like yours so I can go riding
            I am obviously not good at fixing elektickery problems
