    I got a 1978E with 80's model carbs. I am rebuilding carbs new needles and seats and a good cleaning. I got on here on old posts and found all the infro. I needed to do all my work. If you keep looking you will find it. Thanks to XS 1100 .com. !!!!!

    The search function on XS11.com tends to be one of its weaker points. Sometimes I have better luck doing my searches in Google, and just including XS11 in the search terms - particularly for older threads. Congrats on finding what you needed and getting the job done!
    I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

      Hey Doc,

      Just hope you've seen some of the newer carb threads....and that you ordered GENUINE MIKUNI for your float needles/seats!? We found that the Generic ones are a different size/length, and can lead to flooding and leakage even when set to the proper height!!
