Don't run a tour bell on the XJ, but a friend with a 1400 Intruder has his mounted low and back...off the bottom of his left Vance & Hines. Says its gotten to be an Intruder thing to hand the bell in this position. His SWMBO rides an 800 Intruder with tour bell mounted in same location.
