  • Mancave Addition....

Just got it in the mail today.... Not sure this is it's final location but looks pretty great for only $5...

Came in a week from San Fran. Wife tells me to buy another one for the other side and she'll take her curtains out of the cave.

    I like the new curtain

That's either the nicest garage I've ever seen, or you've got those bikes in the house. If my ex wife caught me doing that she'd have smothered me in my sleep. You must have married one of the good ones.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

        dbeardslee,
I showed this to the bride and she laughed her butt off. I've kept her (or she's kept me) for more than 30 years so I guess one of us got a good deal?

BRIEF NOTE: The PO of the house converted the garage to living space. We used it as such for about ten years. Once the kids were all gone, I converted it back to a garage by removing partitions, adding back a garage door, and removing the carpet in favor of tile. Much of what made it "living space" was retained including: heat & A/C, french side doors, television, stereo, ceiling fan, etc. etc. I've seen much nicer "Man Caves" but this one is pretty fun and is kinda like working in the living room

              Motowoman & Motoman,

I am very happy to see you both posting and even replying to my silly posts. I wasn't around this site too long when Motoman got hurt. Motoman had replied to a couple of my early posts with help and advice. It was easy to tell he is a really great guy. I hope ya'll received my card several weeks back.

I am very sorry to hear about your "man cave additions" and wish ya'll were closer so I could offer any needed hands-on assistance. I am sure Motoman will be 110% soon. I've been watching your thread(s) too.....

              Very Respectfully,

I'm surprised nobody's commented on the Trans Am. Sweet!

This song has one of the best ideas for a Trans Am license plate I've ever heard... Sammy Hagar - Trans Am

                    dbeardslee,
Thank you. I had heard that song before but had no idea who performed it. I also own a Z-28 (backyard) but it wouldn't stand a chance against the T/A

The T/A is probably feeling a bit neglected as it's probably been driven once since the XS11 arrived in May.

I told my wife I could easily fit another two bikes in the garage and she said "OK."...Guess I did get a good one In order to be fair, I think I better get her sewing room finished before I start hunting for more Yamahas.

Glad to see Motoman back. He needs a motor on that wheel chair. Then he could make it go faster. Add some headers and things like that.

I can't imagine seeing that much of the garage floor at the same time.
Add a work bench, band saw, table saw, drill press, lathe, bar feed, compressor, Desk ,Tool box, shelving............................

I need a two bedroom house with a 10 car garage

You must mean the OTHER SIDE of the garage :
                              Drill Press
                              Table Saw

                              Spare Turbo 400
                              Etc. Etc. Etc.

My last home had a 4-car garage. I swore I would NEVER ever buy a home without a garage but have been (until last year) garage-less for nearly 15 years as this was the only home we could find/afford to house our four growing kids. Now that they are gone (3 anyway ) I FINALLY got a garage.

I'll have a bike lift within a week.... probably gonna sit right where the XS is currently kept.
