    Cam Chain Master Links

    Does anyone know a source for the removable cam chain master Links that use the spring loaded side plate?
    I don't want to buy that special tool for securing the peened type of master link and I have a new cam chain that I want to install.

    Not so sure that I would trust the link you are referring to in this application. Would suggest that you get the tool.

        I have a new cam chain. it came with the master link that must be peened in place.
        I have used the removable master links in the past with no issues. As long as the keeper is installed in the correct origination there is no issue.
