I just signed up with this group and thought I would say a few words just to get acquainted. I live in southern Wisconsin (USA), and have a 1979 XS1100 Special. I bought the bike three years ago as a wreck, and got it up and running in just a couple of days. It now has a custom paint job, a new king /queen seat and home made leather grips. If I ever figure out how to post a pic here I would love to show it off. I would also like to thank all of you who have freely given your knowledge and experience regarding these bikes. It was with your help that I was able to get this bike back on the road again.

To use the IMG button, your picture needs to be on some web server somewhere, your own site, or one of the free online picture places. I think Yahoo's doesn't allow linking direct (they want you to see their ads!), but I think imagestation does.

You could upload your pic to imagestation, then put the url of the actual picture into the IMG prompt.
