  • Tech session west...

I'm in the process of building a new garage / work shop and I'd like to start having tech sessions here a couple times a year. I'm to arthritic to ride anymore so I can't go to rallies but I'm open to having an event here either in August or September.

I have a bike lift and I expect to have my wiring done by then so there will be power for the air compressor. There's room to put up a few tents in my side yard and I'll have the BBQ going for burgers and other chow.

    Anybody interested?

If I can do it I'd love it!

Some old friends are graduating from college up in Portland on June 18th so I will eventually need to get up there and needle the both of them about it.

I'll be up that way the early part of July. The BMW is going to be the ride, as I need a bike to take the wife and I for about 4 nights in BC. Late August, I MAY be able to talk the wife into letting me ride up there again, but I'll have to be good for a few months....

My new garage won't be up in time for that but you're welcome to drop by.

The 2 reasons I'm thinking September because the new building will be up and we the emptying out of of the storage unit will be all done by then. Late August would be OK too.

One nice thing about this place is it's almost always cool in the evening even if it's hot as hell during the day. The coastal winds come down over the mountains starting around 5:00p. Up on the hills around here can actually have cold days in the summer...

Unless we can get a group, it's only going to few dropping by to visit...

Hopefully some of the locals will scrape the moss off their backs and their bikes for a weekend!

I renewed the insurance on the bike and got the cards in the mail yesterday so I'm committed now, I have to put Columbo back together again.

Hmmm.......Humpty-Dumpty may be more fitting........but then it may REALLY put you on 'ignore'. Gotta 'tread lightly' around Columbo.

Sshhh! Keep it down! Fortunately, Columbo hasn't got a clue what's going on right now, he's headless!

That sounds great, since that friggin' LoHo doesn't seem to want to step up.

Yeah, it's a safety issue; studies have shown that California's dry conditions might lead to wildfires from the sparks caused by motorcycles bouncing along the edge of the road....
