Yeah, we have snow above 7000' elevation coming on Sunday. We live at 7200. Otherwise inches and inches of rain everywhere else. We don't have spring in Colorado, goes from winter straight to summer it seems.

Divide is looking to get 5-8" of new snow starting tomorrow and another few inches Monday.

Palmer Lake is looking at an inch or so, more rain here than snow because of the elevation difference (almost 9000' in Divide vs only 7200' Palmer Lake).

I am at about 1200 Feet and this morning 48 degrees and sleet falling like crazy it has turned to rain now but sleet at 48
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

              rdmcguy,

How goes it? Got a rally in ya' this summer once the snow melts? Time to float the idea...

Pikes Peak has more snow on it this time of year than I have ever seen, with more tomorrow. Forecast is now 3-5" for Palmer Lake.

Geez, we didn't really have a winter in California in either of the last two years, and we could sure use one. I have seen the midwest flooding on TV and wondered how we could get some of that water out here. The trees have actually started whistling, hoping to attract a dog....

Western Colorado is getting a lot of rain and snow above about 7,000 feet. (I live at about 5,000 feet, getting only rain.) SWMBO and I can see the snow on the Roan Plateau and Mamm Range, both rise above the Colorado River and get up to over 10,000 feet in elevation. (Roan Plateau to the north, Mamm Range to the south.)

I've been able to ride to work only once or twice so far; between rain + snow and days SWMBO and I commute together my bike riding has been somewhat curtailed.

I had hoped to get my RV up to our lot in central Colorado (Park County) this weekend but as the lot is at 9,500 feet it looks to be a few weeks before I will have the chance to do so. Snow is in the forecast for both upcoming weekend days.

                    Heck of a spring.

                      Spring?

You guys need to move a bit East and/or South. All of your problems will be solved and you can ride year round. Doesn't that sound nice? Almost forgot - it was 86 and sunny here today.
