  • Bored with the XS11 ...

    Well,

I've become bored with my current bikes (especially the XS11), so I decided it was time for a change. I sold them all and bought this:

What do you guys think of her?

I like the colors... but not the handle bars, seat, hard tail, lack of fenders...

I'm thinking you will get bored with this bike and by tomorrow you will have bought back the bikes you sold.

Must have bought it from some dude at the local VFW post, since it has two flag holders behind the seat.

                      I love this comment!

I actually want to make a very rigid frame for my bags and also put a pair of flag holders on there.

I was at Ace the other day, and a guy was buying several sticks of 1/4" threaded rod for brackets for saddle bags. I hope it was for leather bags.

                          Wow, Ty!

You nailed it! You must be clairvoyant ...

I took one ride on this thing, and I was ready to be put in traction! And the more I looked at it, the more bored I became with it.

So ... got rid of it and now have my old bikes back. Go figure ...

                          Oh, well ... lesson learned.

P.S. This place is great! Some great wit and good senses of humor out there, guys (and gals) ... thanks for indulging my little diversion.
