    Sad day

Lost my sister last night, rather short notice. She went to the hospital and passed a few hours later at age 70. Out of 6 of us children, only two remain. I am the eldest and my remaining sister is the youngest. Lost my last brother last July. Wonder when my turn will come.

    Rover,

So sorry to hear of your sister. Yes, 70 is a bit young now a days, but everyone's health is different. Sounds like she didn't suffer much if any before she went. Do you know what was the cause, heart or stroke or such?

My mom is the last of her 6 siblings, and she was the next to youngest. But she also made good lifestyle choices....no smoking, moderate drinking, watched her diet and tried to stay active, etc..

So here's hoping you and your sister live for many more years to come.

              sad day

Thanks, all, it does ease very much to know so many people care. She had a blood clot, and they didn't find it soon enough. Yes, I have many happy memories, but I would rather have a sister. But, I still have one. Out of six of us, there are only two left. Me, the oldest and my Sister from Arkansas, the youngest. Many cousins and other relatives are gone. Thanks again for your concern.

                Condolences

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost a sister in 1983, and hardly a day goes by when I don't think of her. Prayers for you and your family.
