Just a mention that xs11s are alive and well in Stuttgart, Germany. I spent the week there and saw several xs11s, but of course we know that they are everywhere. What really impressed me though was that the Technical Museum (north west of Stuttgart) had 1:18 scale die cast models of xs11s for sale! Pretty good detail and includes working suspension for only 5.95 Euros.

I did a search and found the following, they have a web site, an Online shop but they don't show the XS11's, but from what I can gather, you/we may be able to contact them and inquire about items that are NOT on their best selling shop list!? I don't know if they will do international orders, most of it was in German, and I only know a little SPANISH!!!DOH. Here are the links and info:
Perhaps someone with a working knowledge of German and English could find out IF we could place orders, what their Shop ID # for the item(XS11 die cast model) would be, how much in US$, etc.!?

XS1100
I took a XS1100 to germany in 1980 and sold it to a german fellow but I've lost track of him. The bike was different as it had a turbo-charger on it. It was a 78 model E prelease motorcycle that I bougt in California. I was stationed in Ludwigsburg at Flak conserne. I was just wondering if that guy and bike was still around???
thanks
