  • A Productive Day!

Rebuilt the petcocks, changed the brushes on the starter & greased her up (nice & quiet), re-jetted the carbs with 137.5 Main Jets, and 45 Pilots, glued the side cover back together, and tapped my handlebar mount plate to hold my switch plate for driving lights/headlight cut-off switch.

    Still to

cold and nasty to get out in the shed to do anything productive.

I have moved a majority of the XS parts out there with the last of my RD engines set to go out there once I add a shelf to set them on.

Glad it's more productive where you're at. It'll be another 3 weeks before temps are nice enough to do anything here and then it'll be to hot shortly there after.

Hah! I just checked your weather Gmac. That's our t-shirt weather in Michigan after our Winter!!! But, no way in hell was I working in the cold. I dismantled those parts and took them to the shop. Nice big shop with anything, and everything at my disposal.

          Funny that you say that

Because I actually was outside in that stuff, wearing the obligatory shorts and a tee shirt as I shuffled firewood inside for the wood stove as I trudged back and forth through the snow.

          It was uphill both ways!
