Maybe a few more years..... I would like to ship one of my XS11's over and ride it through parts of Western Europe, including the UK. This year, the BMW is going North for a family gathering at the end of June in Washington State, with a trip into BC to make it worth the ride.

      Hi Tom,
After a night of drinking fine German Beer from¸the Well ( read endless supply) and a belly full of Bratwurst how do you manage to ride a rally
seriously it looks like a great venue. Wish i could join in.

Haha yep the beer and food in Germany are the best, pork steaks over there are beautiful.

Its a good party with old friends.

Ray it'd probably be cheaper to buy a bike over here to ride to the rally and leave it with one of us to sell for you once you leave, rather than shipping your bike over. You could do a full Euro tour knowing there's a network of XS11 owners if any problems occur.

Which has got me thinking, I should build one up out of spares to rent out

Last time I was in the UK, I ALMOST made it for a ride. November isn't a good time for clear, warm weather, though.. I spent a night with Brian, and we hoisted pints to riding. I do miss him and his posts.....
