Naked Speed. Similar to Cafe Racer but looks like the builders have a bigger shop and bigger budget. Ive only seen the first show. Many things I like.
1. No showcasing expensive V twins. In fact the first show used a Yamaha XS650 twin and a CB750 Four Honda as the basis of the build.
2. So far no pimping expensive billet stainless titanium non real world stuff.
3. No fake drama of fights about to break out! The first show I watched did not have the "Looming deadline" and I hope they dont play that crap.
4. The builders give praise to the Brit and Japanese engines they use. The one guy - a Honda CB afficianado acknowledged the expense of a project Harley or vintage Brit bike and noted the Japanese stuff is affordable fast and reliable. The other guys personal ride looks to be a 70s Triumph.
5. I just plain like it. In a television world where new big Harleys and Harley esq choppers are pushed its nice to see some tinkering with the stuff that really introduced the world to the joy of motorcycling.
