Jumped up pretty fast here last week. Now it is around $2.39 here. Almost $1.00 jump in a 2 week period.

I run Premium in the BMW and the wife's car. Chevron is $2.79 at the "cheap" station, and $2.89 Gallon at most others. That puts Regular, ALL with ethanol, at about $2.49 for "good" gas, and $2.39 for cheap....

Just for interest sake, lets go a little bit Einstein here and talk about relativity
so i can get a picture of where is the most expensive, here or there..

What do you guys pay for everyday grocery items? stuff like bread, milk, butter, meat, etc? and whats the average salary?

According to the Government our average salary is around 55k, but im not sure where that figure comes from, as the reality is that its closer to 45k. I earn 60k, and i pay $330 for a bridgestone battleaxe on the back of my XJR (twice a year)

OK, I'm BELOW the average for my profession, it's $65K, at $52K per year. House payment is $1,700 month, Road Pilot 3 GT is $200 online for the BMW, about once per year. Wife's income does help, but it's smaller than mine by a lot.....
ground beef is $3.99 per pound, or about $8.50 per Kilo. Veggies are cheap, as most are grown year-round within 50 miles of us.

Went up 35 cents a gallon here. The reason,my toilet backed up.But I think they say it is BP is not drilling and laying people off due to losing money at the price per barrel is too low.

Yeah, it's gone up here too (1.99 US/ gallon as of yesterday). Thank goodness for grocery store reward cards... I still get at least .10 a gallon off each time.

Ok. Looks like most staples are on par with what we pay here, and Ray's salary info looks about the same as here, so it looks like were just being extorted with gas prices. I guess that just reflects the fact that we import all our crude.
