So, this is the fellow we get bearings from? The music reminds me of stuff I enjoyed back in high school. The samples are only a few seconds long.

Yep, that's me, for good or worse.

Yes, the CD track samples are only short...about 10 seconds.....that's how CDBaby do it, so as to encourage people to buy the tracks....99c each, I think (so get your wallet out...lol). They've sold pretty well and a few of the tracks have been used commercially for live events and DVD's. It's just a hobby now, after years of playing for a living. I've neglected it a lot over the last couple of years...just like I knew I would when the first XS1100 arrived at my workshop.

So, you are one of the few who actually practiced the piano between lessons and stuck it out. Nice!

yes... my mother, God rest her soul, made me carry on, much against my will. Of course, now I'm grateful that she did. 10 years playing professionally, earning a living and paying my taxes. Like a paid social life!

            Very impressive

Very nicely done, James! Are those all original compositions by you? I always wonder how composers can come up with music and not, by chance, repeat what someone else did.

What is an example of a song that is played at sports venues? As I'm channel surfing, I may linger if I come across a Manchester United vs. Chelsea game to see if I can hear one of your songs (Looks like MU could use some help).

Anyway, very cool. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, they are all original. Of the 44 tracks on the three albums, only two have me singing. The others are all instrumental tracks.

Mm.. a football match.......I'd go for Track 10 on Album 2...'Victory'...that's if your team win, of course. Or Track 22 of album 1..'Today'

If the match is mid-play and neither won nor lost and a bit tense, I'd go for 'Overdrive'..track 11 on Album 2........

There are sometimes inadvertent breaches of copyright, purely by accident, and songs can often resemble each other...eg Theme to Ghostbusters was deemed a breach of Huey Lewis and the News. The song 'Big girls, you are beautiful' sounds a lot like the start of 'Working 9-5' etc etc.

According to this guy, everyone has been stealing from Johann Pachelbel.
