    Hey Youse guys!

Well for those of you who care...
I was helping a buddy look for an XS 1100
And doing a pretty good job (I might add)
But like most things...when you least X-pect it...along comes opportunity
I found one...and he passed on it
So now Me-n-Mo got a NEW BABY!!!!!!!
    Please...no cigars...(just send money)
She's an '80 Model Special...with only 14K... , she's a little 'rough' but now she'll have TWO responsible parents to 'nurse' her back to life
We haven't given her a name yet...we call her 'scruffy' as she's just that!
So now we have FOUR (4) XS 1100's and in anybody's book...that's a BIT X-sessive
So now the "BEAST" (my '80 SG) has a 'little sister' heck they're practically 'twins' (the newbie is Blackberry) all our other kids are BLACK
I need to go lie down...I'm now a Father of FOUR (4)
These kids are puttin' me in the POORHOUSE

Oh sure, can't leave well enough alone, more kids to feed!! I think it was cheaper to feed the real kids, but I could not leave them alone in the garage.

As big a pain in the neck the SF is, I would love to have another "child" ... yes, even at my age!!! LOL But I think insurance rates and gas might be a very limiting factor at our house. Proper 'planning' you know.
Congrats on your new 'addition' !!!! I hope they play nice together!

              The Kids...

              Ok..let me X-plain...

I'll start at the beginning... (just kidding)...
              It goes something like this...
              I'm a 'sucker' for a sob story...
And I never met an XS that I didn't like (YES even the XS 400 )
And as we all know (X-specially here) that can be a dangerous combination...

I have a very understanding better half (who loves kids )
and since I'm in my 3rd childhood
I've decided I need one (XS 1100) for each
Molly says that '79 was a better year for her than '80 or '81...so she has a 'Special' (get it?) relationship with our 25 yr. old (the '79 SF)
So I guess that means 3 for ME...1 for her...
Funny how those things work out...

              Now back to the story...
I 'found' this one living with 'hostiles'...they were going to "part it out on ebay" if they couldn't sell it 'whole'
quite the sob story...if you ask me...and I find it hard not to 'like' any XS 1100 with only 14k on it.
And since Molly went out to her mothers house for Mothers Day...I'm getting up REAL early (Saturday) and going to pick her up...then I'm going to rush home...and stick it in the garage...when Molly comes home (Sunday) I'll just tell her "it followed me home" and then I'll ask "can we keep her"...or if she doesn't go out to the garage... maybe I won't have to tell her anything...I'm still thinking of a way to convince her that when black paint 'fades' it looks sorta' burgundy ...HMMM..Naw that won't work...
              UMMM...I GOT IT!!!
              I don't know why I didn't think of this before...man am I a genius...or what???

I'll tell her it's a MOTHERS DAY present ...and the guy 'lied' and told me it was a '79...or... "I thought you would look kool on a burgundy one Dear...it matches your top"
              I'd better stop before I out-do myself...

And since I now have 16 hungry cylinders to feed...I should probably start thinking more responsibly
Like where is my next big bore kit gonna' come from?...or how am I gonna be able to afford 4 pairs of shoes...and stuff like that...HUH?
Well it's almost time for the 2 o'clock feeding...

Hey biuckyouth...I don' 'get it' Bebe? remember I'm old & feebleminded

You will find that 4 is enough, there is not enough of you to enjoy them all properly. I am (an was with XS's) in the same boat with 4 bikes. Congrats on the new bike but stop before there little tires start going bad from dry rot and not wearing out from riding. When this happens you will know that you are much too XSive!

Congrats, sounds like your addicted. But you are doing well on the road to recovery cuz the first step is admitting you have a problem. (although I see how one can become addicted)
