As long as it has the black background to fill out the 3" square (like the one in post #1 of this thread), I like it equally as well as the patch with the single #1 ...

Hey Nate,
The graphic was created IIRC by a graphic artist for the site and for the WEBMASTER/OWNER, and like Rover said, it was to stipulate that it's #1 like, as well as like a racing # sign. It has the "Eleven" in the script and the URL for the site. When I sent it to "Hammer", I said that there wasn't a real worry about COPYRIGHT type problems because the SITE Owned the rights. So he was free to have a local embroidery shop use it to make patches with... without the need for a copyright RELEASE from Yamaha Corporate like what I and a fellow Xsive had to go thru with the 25 year commemorative patches for the 78E and the 80SG, so that we could use the YAMAHA name, LOGO, Tuning Forks images and such.
I'm pretty sure that JP Honeywell/Webmaster/Site Owner would NOT like/permit the graphic to be changed to what has been suggested. Remember, it IS the sites LOGO, has been for 12 years now.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but that's how it is...the XS11.com LOGO patch AS IS or nothing. The background was made BLACK because it goes with anything...black, blue, etc., and it's cheaper to have a rectangular shape than a fancy irregular shape that would require extra work to cut it out. With the black rectangular background, it's also easier to sew in onto a vest, jacket, etc.. BTW MARTY, that's what you're supposed to do with them!T. C. Gresham

You should delete that post of mine as to not make it confusing for people. I deleted the pic from photobucket so it won't show at least.Last edited by natemoen; 09-04-2014, 07:12 PM.Nathan
