    1978 Yamaha XS1100
    $4300
The XS Eleven (1100) made its debut in 1978 as the largest capacity Japanese superbike then currently in production. It featured dual front disc brakes, a rear disc brake, shaft drive and cast wheels. Very strong performer, looks almost new, and has only 15,250 miles on the clock. Bullet-proof 95 bhp engine, shaft drive, custom tank and seat (comes with the original dual seat too, for those who wish to carry a passenger). Four-into-two custom stainless steel pipes, custom silencers, rear-set footrests, straight bars, front-fork brace to stiffen the forks, rubber-mounted engine and gearbox, and braided brake lines. Tires have lots of wear left in them. A handlebar fairing is fitted, which helps a lot when travelling at speed. Located on Gabriola Island.

You'd have trouble building one for that price. It appears to have new Hagon shocks, new exhaust, new brake lines, rearsets, a fork brace.....So maybe it's a solid performer.

I don't light the fuse on my Acme Rocket to chase the Roadrunner into a tunnel painted on the side of a cliff either.
