    Another Fool, Like Me

    Hey Guys-n-Gals,

    I got a buddy down in Oregon who I have talked into buying an XS 1100.
    So now we need to get him on one before he sobers up
    He ain't rich...and he can't travel to far...so if anybody has any ideas...
    We got some money...and the NEED!
    So let's see what we can do.
    We appreciate all the help (we can get)

    What is too far? DFRooney has a nice looking Special for sale. He is in Tempe Arizona, though.

      I'm in chicago so I don't think I'd be much help in finding something close. But if I hear anything, I'll let you know.

            In the Market for a Bike too...

            Hey guys, while we're on the subject, does anyone have an XJ1100 they're willing to part with. I'm leaving mine in Hawaii over the summer and would love something with a little more power than my Honda 350's. Let me know if anyone finds one for sale!

                    Where in Oregon does your friend live?

                    There was a XS1100 listed for sale in the local paper for $700 by a Bike Partzer.

                    I think it was a '80, or '81. w/fairing. It looked tired, but the guy said it didn't smoke......

                    I live in Vancouver, WA, USA....just North of Portland, OR, for those of you beyond the PNW.

                    If you buddy IS interested he can reach me to get the phone number, address, etc. My email is XS11SOB@aol.com .

                    I have no personal inerest in the ad, or the motorcycle being sold.

                    But if it is not sold intact, it will be broken-up for parts, if not already done so......
