Because everybody that went rode BMW GS's, and planned to ride a lot off road.
Couldn't talk anyone else into going with me, and decided I didn't want to ride almost all the way out there and back by myself.

Tried to get you to go... But no...

Tried to get Tod to go... But no... it's his anniversary...

Harry had to go and crash...

So, I rode with my friend Tim up to KC this past weekend, and took a free hour long demo ride on a BRP Spyder Limited.
They're ok, and would be good for 2 up touring if you needed to ride 800+ miles per day, but don't think I'll be going that direction.

My friend's has been told by his wife that she will not be riding with him on his Valkrye anywhere...ever. But she might go if they had a Spyder, so he wanted to check them out.

Put on about 1000 miles this weekend on Connie.

Harry, dude...it wasn't cause I didn't think about doing it or didn't want to!

It was one of those really quick, last minute deals.
Took most of Saturday getting there, due to Stopping for 2 1/2 hrs in Pittsburgh Kansas to have lunch w/ Tim's son who's going to college there, meeting up with Tim's brother who guided us over to his place to stay the night, then getting up, breakfast, and arriving at the demo ride late.
After it was over, it was see ya and back on the road home.

I told Tim I hated not to be able to visit you.
                      Sorry, bro.

Hopefully we'll get another chance soon and you'll feel like company, and maybe be ready to do some riding.
