  • Meet MissBehavin'

Seems like everyone has named their XS1100's. So Meet MisBehavin'

Going to do a theme as I've never did one before for myself. It will have a Military Aircraft art theme like my helmet.

I know what you mean - it feels kinda sad because that one looks so nice - but it will still look nice in a different way too.

Fewer and fewer stock ones left - but that one isn't stock anyway.

I like a few little details I noticed, like the bare front brake calipers and painted final drive with silver raised parts. Do the front brake calipers have anodizing or paint from the factory? I wonder if they'd polish out.

The calipers are painted black from the factory. If you can polish aluminum, I'm sure you can polish those.

The guy in Topeka used paint stripper on everything. Can I name it without painting over? LOL

Winterhawk, it's your bike, call it anything you want! It looks good now but the aircraft theme should get a decent hoot er two too.

Does anybody recognize what the kick start lever is originally off of?

Looks like the folding kind off a 650...

I see variations in the maroon color from tailpiece to tank - could just be lighting. I don't see why a new color scheme would not be in order?

I just bought one of these Akuma helmets with a Navy theme - the back has "afterburner" red LEDs to increase visibility and a front white LED map light.

The Jolly Roger squadron emblem goes well with my pirate theme also (all my bikes are named after famous real pirate ships save one - Great Ranger: Black Bart; Rising Sun: William Moody; The Ranger: Charles Vane; Enterprise was a Naval Ship that fought pirates off Barbary Coast and Carribean for 24 years)
