  • Time for the Dream Machines!

This is one of my favorite gear head events of the year. Any and everything mechanical in any condition that anyone cares to display. Rat rods, stream liners, rail dragsters, antique and classic cars, motorcycles, of course: and since it is held at the Half Moon Bay airport, it is an antique/ classic airplane fly-in. Noteably missing are "Trailer Queens! It is the only place that I have ever seen motorized drag racing unicycles!
DiverRay and I usually go to display out bikes, but I'm not sure if we can make it this year. If I go it will probably be a spur of the minit thing. Any of you who are interested in a really fun event and a beautiful ride should definitely attend!

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
    I've been riding since 1959.

Sounds like a great time to be had, and not that far away ...

Would love to go, but not a chance this year ...

        Reno

That sounds like fun ,all the different sounds and sights. Every year I try to get to Reno for the Air races. That happens in Sep. every year. You can see crazy fast flying there. Talk about mods these race planes have them. Did I mention it's in RENO!!!
