as we all know pictures are the best, so here we go:

    in her glory

    some extras

    carbs soaking

of course broken post and one stuck pilot, drilled and tapped

extra special tank, sandblasted, dents pulled, waiting for Bondo

Pacifico fairing mount(I assume) was refitted to Vetter fairing

it is for sale or trade for Vetter mount

that's all for now..I got motor unstuck with some "honey"...next the brakes, drop exhaust...yada yada yada

Man! That bike sat out for a minute, ehh? I admire your energy to refurb her. I'll go with the advice I asked regarding purchasing my first XS11: buy in running condition, and go from there.

it might end up being parts bike, since I don't have title for it
serial numbers are exactly 40 numbers difference, so might trick some POPO riding with my other plate and papers...if it comes to that

Nick- As ur aware, the rarity of one of us getting pulled-over is next to nil. In all my years in Michigan, I have yet to see a biker pulled-over.

You can use the Pacifico mount as they're almost identical to the Vetter in terms of where the fairing actually installs on the bracket...

Here's a Vetter laid over a Pacifico; note the mounting holes are within about 1/4" of each other (and the fairing angle is the same too), and if you weld the 'Vetter-style' lower bracing to the Pacifico mount you'll have the same thing and can delete the upper Pacifico mount....
Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

Yeah, I got Vetter on my other bike (build by yamaha to be exact, but I didn't want to hack on a good mount if someone needs it....someone might had a fairing from different bike and mount would make it complete
