        Birthday Wishes!

        Hey everybody,

Thanks for the well wishes! Greg, not great weather, in the 30's, but sunny today compared to yesterday's Rain/Sleet mix! Not warm enough for these OLD BONES to get out and ride YET!

I did have a nice little FREE early b'day surprise yesterday, was driving home and turned off the main 2 lane onto the neighborhood road and noticed a bunch of little white balls strewn along the main road. IT was dark/evening and of course slightly sleeting/raining, but I stopped and got out to investigate! What I found and COLLECTED was a nice batch of NEW Intech Platinum golf balls that had fallen out/off of someone's vehicle! It started out as a box of 36, found 26 of them in perfect condition, there might be a few more down in the roadside sewer/rain drain, but SWMBO wouldn't let me lift up the metal drain cover/lid!

Earlier in the week, I was getting my little 2006 Ipod 5.5 gen vid/music player out of my bag/locker at work, and it slipped out of my hands and fell 5 feet onto the hard tile floor! I proceeded to turn it on, but only got the little sad smiley face with the www.support.apple link in the video screen! So...I had killed the HD! I ordered one that Monday Evening on eBay for only $35.00, and got a free 100GB upgrade from the usual 80GB size/price, it arrived yesterday. I was able to open it up, swap it out with some modest surgery, and reformat the iPod OS onto it with iTunes, and reinstalled all of my music that I use while at work! When I took the old HD out and I shook it, it made a rattle kind of noise....not good! Here's what it looked like on the inside.

It was a dual platter HD, and the bottom platter had shattered in a few extra pieces!

I'm just chillin' at home today, will be going out to the Red Lobster this late afternoon for a combined B'day and Valentine's dinner with Swmbo via some nice gift cards I received from friends/coworkers! Think I'll have some LOBSTER !

Hope all of you are able to stay warm and enjoy your weekend, and Steppenwolf....hope you also have a great B'day as well!!!

Happy birthday guys remember you really don't get old till you stop ridding.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
