        Looks real good, love the trunk badge

        Did you reinforce the inside of the trunk for the wind buffeting the speakers ?

          no reinforcements to trunk.needs some though, trunk cracked at hinges. thanks for compliment, it needs paint bad.

                    Looks like a very good paint job.

                    I am mostly a fan of the OEM colors for each year. However, I did not like (at the time) the one and only color of the 1978E. I have a 1981H that has a custom paint job by the original owner. I like it even though it is not OEM.

                      it was that color when i bought it 14 yrs ago.time has taken it's toll on paint. it's bubbling chipping now looking at repaint.still get compliments tho.

                        Hey Graybird,

                        The bike looks awesome, of course time takes it's toll on the paint finish but it still looks really good, no matter oem color or not.
                        You've been a good steward to that bike for the past 14 years. Keep it up.

                          i so much appreciate the kudos from everyone here.. makes me warm and fuzzy.i've tried my best to take good care of bike. the color sorta grew on me after awhile.but she definitely needs some tlc now,
