I have a second 1980 MNS coming that will be here next week. It will need some maintenance/repair done to it. When complete, it will be for sale. I also have a 1980G that is currently under going maintenance/repair. It will be for sale also.

I am hoping to have both completed by Spring.

Thanks and I aggree that this is a good looking well kept MNS. Hats off to the PO - I think that he is still crying just a little.

The secret to success is to keep it a secret. Little chance of an azz whoopin that way. And if you do get caught, take the fifth - and remember, you did not hear this from me. LOL

They are not kept at home - not enough room there. I do rebuild most of the sub assemblies at my shop at home. Time comes randomly (and a lot of night hours) and I normally will be working on several at once. All of them get what they need and then some. I enjoy working on them. If I had not bought one of these new in 1978, I may not have this problem today. The key to my success (or cause of my sickness) on any of these 11s comes from all the people right here on XS11.com.

Would I be too snoopy if I asked how much the shipping was? Just trying to get a idea what stuff like that costs nowadays.
                It certainly is a beauty!!

I used uShip for the job. Cost was $391 from the shipper and $39.99 uShip fee. Total of $430.99.

Otherwise, it would have been 13 hours one way or about 790 miles drive for me to get it. I would have spent in the neighborhood of $350 for gas plus one or 2 nights in a motel plus 26 or more hours on the road. So I said "bring it to me". It was a much better plan for me and likely cheaper.
