  • Hello from the UK

    Hi guys.

Recently joined XS11.com, though i've had a couple of XS1100's over the years I'm from the UK, near Bristol.
The XS i have at the moment is an SF special of 1978/9 vintage. Its a Canadian import with matching frame and engine numbers. Very standard, and in very good condition.
I look forward to chatting with you all soon.
I was on the XS11 UK forum for a while, but they are an unpleasant, bitter bunch of guys and i got fed up, so am here looking for something more friendly.

Hope you all have a good Christmas

    WELCOME!
I am also fairly new and they seem to be a great bunch here and very helpful.
I am in the process of trying to save a 1979 XS1100F.

It was in horrible condition and not very well taken care of over the years.

      Hello
      Glad you joined us.

Clevedon? ............. made me look. You have some nice motorcycling roads out that way.

Yes, a great bunch here that enjoy the XS11 machines, the art & science of maintaining them (or resurrecting a neglected mess), as well as the friendships we make along the way.

          Hi Jon,

Welcome to channel 11!! Generally we are a friendly bunch, like any other group we have a few surly lads as well. But all in good fun typically.

You will find amazingly quick, accurate, and informative info is available. Don't get to offended if you ask for help and someone ask you if you did something easy and simple like "Did you put gas in the tank?". Its only from experience of seeing that be the end problem after five pages of "why won't my bike start".

So again, welcome to the madness!
