  • Where should I post a build thread?

    Hello, Wolf here.

I am finishing a PO's abandoned project bike, 1980 '11 SG. Stripped it down to bare frame and powder coated most of the metal bits. I have taken a few images of the process, I am working in a very cramped space and it is hard to get good shots. Nearing "roller" status which will help with images, still need some head work to get the engine finished.

I would really really like to toot my own horn... Seriously though, where did you hide the photo/build gallery?

FYI - I am looking for an '80 SG wiring harness, rather than cobbling together another harness. Posted in the "Wanted" section.

    Bueller?... Bueller?... )

    Peace, Wolf

In the past, build threads have gone in both XS/XJ Discussion or here in Members Lounge. Either is acceptable.

We have a Members gallery, never seen a "build gallery" here on the site. However, there have been many build threads over the years with pictorial progress reports.

Always fun to watch another of these beast come back from the depths of discarded!

        Harness

Last I talked to Andreas, he had several complete harnesses with switches etc available. Cheep to.

Maybe the admin or mod could set up a specific build thread location as a sub folder or something.
