Well the Green and cream has been on it for almost two whole months, and the burgandy/silver was soo last summer...figure its time for another color change as well. Still like the two tone tank divided with the chrome, but I found a color that I just can't get out of my head. Metallic Root-Beer.

Had a friend years ago that had a 74 CB750 that color. Looked really good with a 6" rake and 4 into 4 drag pipes. Wish I had a picture of it.

        A fun bike to ride.

That'll be close but it needs some trimmings.

I have the fairing, bags, trunk, tank, and seat off of an 81H that will be going on it. It will be a 78 Venturer basically.

Gotta come up with a pinstripe scheme to set it off. Still working on that.

Metal flake isn't too hard to spray. Although it depends on where you want to put the flake. Is it going to be in the paint, in a translucent color layer, or in the first layer of clear?

Make sure you have a nozzle large enough for the flake. After you put your flake down in a single, very light layer, put a clean vinel glove on and rub the whole area to knock down any of the flakes than may be standing on end rather than laying flat as they should. It takes a lot of clear to cover up a single flake standing on end!

Our family station wagon was that color in 1974. Yamaha applied the color as well.

Yeah, that's a Vetter setup. I would like to have one.

The color looks nice though huh? Needs some striping or something though.

Yeah I love the color. If you want to give me some ideas I can throw on some striping to give you a better idea.

They are Vetter bags but I have no idea what the fairing is. The PO didnt know either. Im actually going to be selling this one in the spring I think to help pay for the new Kawa Voyager.

Much easier to have the plum purple mixed with some gold pearl in it. Single stage then clear the base coat......simple.
