I found an XS1100 78 for sale no title near me and was wondering what would easily swap between that and my 79 special. Engine, trans wiring harness, wheels swingarm exhaust etc?

Hi Rusty,
differences are mostly cosmetic.
What will swap:-
Complete motor & drive train incl. swingarm &/or any part thereof.
Forks c/w brakes, 'trees, fender. (will NOT mix'n'match)
Wheels (note that Std rear is 17" and needs it's own brake hardware to swap)
Wiring, mostly. Some small differences.
Exhaust, rear fender, ditto.
Oddly, seat and side panels, close but no cigar.
