  • Exhaust wrap

When I got my bike, it came with a box of odds and ends including a couple of rolls of what appear to me to be exhaust wrap. Does anyone have an idea for how I could test that? (preferably without burning my house down...)

wrap a piece around one of the header pipes and go for a ride...

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462

I wouldn't warp your pipes unless you plan on keeping it on, it melts on.
It can make ugly pipes look nice when applied correctly and you are careful with the over-lap. If you are ok with how your pipes are stick the wrap back in the box.

        No Need

These bikes do not need the wrap on them especially if the standard exhaust is on the there. +1 on putting it back in the box.

Haha, just trying to figure out how to tell if it actually is exhaust wrap. I've got a set of 4-1 headers and I think the wrap with clean them up a bit, if it is wrap.

Cut off a piece and take it outside somewhere safe and burn it with a propane torch.
