    new wiring harness

    I am getting tired of trying to track down bad electrical connections, anyone know a place one could obtain a new entire harness? I don't trust the darn thing since I found a connector badly melted and burned right under my ass beside the battery.
    Sometimes I do need a fire lit under my ass to get things done, but not while I'm riding...

      Get a bunch of wires, a weekend off, some connectors, multimeter, some beer and a wiring diagram. Don't forget some tape and... erm... patience?

      I have a seanse planned with my wires next winter.

          Wiring Harness

          Hey Targetman I have a complete harness for a 80 SG , will not work on my XJ. If you want to try again with Yamaha stuff it's yours for $20.00 & shipping .All the relays ,fuses ( ##**) ,flashers etc. are there. Let me know. bkr
