I'm spoiled on my xs11

So, Im workin on my buddies honda 650 for him while he's in the Army, he comes back to base in like a month or so from Afgan.


I've changed out the pegs, I'm putting a sissybar and rack on the back for him, changing the oil, gonna put new risers on it, put an HID kit on it... and just about anything else he orders and sends to my house.

Thing is, the suspension is hard, the engine vibrates at high rpm...and I feel sooooooooooooo low to the ground.

He does body work, and he did the paint job.

So yesterday, after running out of fuel not once, but TWICE. I have realized how wonderful it is having automatic petcocks....
I keep forgetting to turn the knob on his... :/

Hi Sparky,
I switched my gas taps to manual.
I reckon that remembering to turn the gas on and off as needed is, like still being able to do the daily crossword, another of those little self-checks for Alzheimer's.
