  • Sold the XS

As seen in my signature,I have sold my XS,not sure if it was the right thing to do,but time will tell.I feel it went to a good home, the new owner now owns a XJ 650,and was looking for a larger bike. I would personally like to thank everybody on here for your help, and friendship on here, and I hope I am still welcome here.I still would like to come to a Rally and meet up with some of you,it will just be on my Vee-Strom instead. The new owner of the bike's name is Steve, and he has been lurking on here, and assure's me he is going to join on here.He seems to be a great guy,and live's in the Catskill mountains,a great riding area. The reason I sold her is,I just don't have enough room in the garage for storage anymore, and I refuse to store her outside.I truely believe Steve will take good care of her,and most importantly, ride and enjoy it.Thanks again, and keep the shiny side up.

Hey, I pay $225 per month for two XS11's, a Gibson, and a Hosier cabinet storage. Yeah, I know, get a TWO CAR garage, but in Can'taffordya, it's too much money. Yeah, you can still be part of the gang, even if you are on a wee-strom.

          Reid's new sheds.

Reid's my backyard neighbor and he is Mr Meticulous, I've never actually seen him combing his lawn but it sure looks like he does.
But anyway, a few weeks back he's out there in a snowstorm building a plastic click-together shed. Perhaps for his lawn tractor?
Last week he's out there building another!
So I put on my Mr Snoopy persona and go ask him:-
"Hey Reid, how much trouble you in that you need two doghouses?"
"Ain't that" he sez "My daughter, son in law and granddaughter have moved here from Vancouver and are staying with us until they find a house to buy in Saskatoon.
The sheds are to store their stuff. Buying the sheds costs less than keeping their stuff in storage and I can sell them again afterwards."
So if Cuda needs a shed and can wait a while, I know where there's a bargain.

yea,I could have gotten a shed, but I already have a 2 car garage, packed to the rafters, guess I should have gotten rid of other things. The wee fit's my riding needs right now,and this guy came along who I felt would not do anything stupid like hardtail it. I think he'll fit right in here,he love's classic yammie's(has a 82 XJ 650) in the stable right now,and he says he's going to join the nut house.I know for a fact he's been lurking here,I know you guy's will give him a warm welcome, and he'll probably have a zillion (is that a word) questions.

You could have gotten bunk beds for the bedroom heaven knows your sex life will suffer now anyway.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
