We just had a heck of an ice storm blow through here. Been two full days w/o power. Lost tons of tree's. Spent all last night manning a pump and generator to keep my mother inlaws basement from flooding again. When she noticed she had a problem there was already about 8 inches of water in her basement. My brother inlaw had four very expensive electric gutars, pedals amps, mixers etc down there. He figures their toast. His accoustic was actually floating at the foot of the stairs. Seems I was the only one in my neighborhood with working generators. Thanx to Mo having trouble with his snow blower earlier, I gave him a hard time but realized I should check out my stuff to before I needed it. So Thanx Mo.

Wow, sorry to hear. That was a wicked weather pattern that moved through. I know NY was right at the transition poimt between snow/rain. We got mostly rain but it was freezing rain and a high of 33-34F. It was 80F and sunshine in Pittsburgh. Dont worry, climate change is just a conspiracy lol.

sorry about your loss,at least the generator worked,We had rain,south of us,and freezing rain and light snow here north.Where the hell is spring? At least there will be plenty of fire wood for next year,trying to think positive.
