  • Driver doesn't Notice!?!?

This goes to show how much cages notice motorcycles...

Allegedly drunk motorcyclist thrown into bed of pickup after crash, driver doesn't notice.

In no way do I think the driver of the truck is at fault, but to not notice that you were hit and the person that hit you is in the bed of your truck?

Does seem a bit strange. Must have been some force to catapult the driver into the pickup bed and the sound of the crash should have been noticeable. Truly a bizarre story!

Only thing that seems plauseable, maybe he thought he hit a pothole? It is an old truck, alot of rattles I would think, and they said it was low impact.Who knows. One of the cardinal sin's to me is riding a bike after drinking. We are to much of a target to begin with, don't need to be drinking too. That also goes for driving a car too,for me.

I'm with you on that one. I really don't understand how alcohol could enhance the riding experience, but I guess it works for some...

Seeing the pics, I wonder if the truck driver waited to sober up before he took the guy for help. With the damage done to the truck, there is no way the driver did not feel that bump in the back, let alone see or feel the person roll up into the bed. Unless they were "incapacitated" as well.
