  • Took my motorcycle endorsement thus weekend!

I passed with second place of the class for the written test. A 96%

For the riding. I passed with first place. Only 4 points taken.

3 was for decelerating before the swerve on accident
And 1 was for an extra foot stopped during the emergency stop.

Tomorrow, I go to register and insure my xs1100!!!!

      $$$???

      Hey Sparks,
How much dud they charge for the course over in Sarasota? It was $350+ here in PB county. There's a monopoly going on now that the state won't even test you.

It cost me 200 for it to be during the weekend.

In all honesty, it was well worth it. The bikes were in great condition.
I got the only dual sport all weekend. A crf 230 Honda. Lol.

          Ridesafeusa did it.

I learned alot about the handling of a bike I would have never learned about with my dirt bike experience.

            Congrats!!

NOW find a big vacant parking lot or little used stretch of road and PRACTICE what you have learned ON YOUR XS11! IT will handle a bit different than the dualsport you took your test on. Ride safe, have fun! If you haven't read it, take a look in the MISC forum about WHY WE ARE INVISIBLE, will open your eyes...especially in the Ancient cager land of Fla!!!!

Yeah. I already have a plan to recreate portions of the test on my road.

The instructor did the same course on some fat boy harley. So... If that can do it... This can do it. Lol.

The one rule they hint at but do not come right out and say is this. All...and yes I mean ALLLLL of the four wheeled vehicles out there, even the ones in driveways and parking lots, are looking for a way to KILL you. Anyway they can sneak out and run you down they will!!!

Now, ride with that in mind, and you will be a little safer.

I drive crazy defensive already. I've been ran off the road in my huge white Buick... As well as my bright red jeep being sent into the median to avoid retards merging into me.

I'll be even more defensive on this bike for sure.

Those of us that had to learn how to drive in FLA have learned to be very defensive because of all the old retirees that are almost blind and are still driving well into their 'golden' years.
