        Daytona Bike Week

My brother, another friend, and myself all took off to DBW during the second week of the event - Thursday through Sunday. I was the lone XS11 Special in the crowd - maybe the only one at the beach? Those two came from South Carolina. We stayed in a beach front condo and had a blast.

Was my first trip to this event and was not sure what to expect. But I am really glad to have been a participant. There were mostly HDs, but all brands were represented. Every type of custom that you may have seen on TV or magazine or have even imagined were there - giant front wheels, lots of LED lighting, Bobbers, Trikes, side cars, trailers - you name it. The largest HD dealer in the US is in Daytona Beach. I forget the name.

Thousands of people and bikes were everywhere you went. There were shows, rallies, and a multitude of other events. Some were advertised and some were not. Made it to Main Street several times. That is something to see on a bike or on foot.

May have to go again next year?
