  • Bring on the warm weather!!!!

Who's excited to get that first crank of the season? As most of you know in the Mid-West, it's common to get a day or two of absolutely beautiful riding weather and then we get more crappy weather. I have every intention of having my bike ready to ride (with Scott Housey's help) soon!

It hasn't really been that cold here (climate change...), but that doesn't make it dry....

We've had some nice sun breaks, but if I'd tried riding anywhere I would have got wet.

There have been plenty of days here I would have ridden to work except for that nice frost covering at 4am when I leave for work.

I rode my bike over the weekend, a bit chilly since I ride a nakid bike, but it was a good ride.

I am sitting in a hotel room on North Detroit (Warren area), and had one ugly drive to get here. Rain from the time I left home in Cincy till northern ohi area where it bacame a mix of sleet and rain. Ice and snow from Toledo on and mostly 20 MPH below the speed limit to keep from sliding off the pavement. Not encouraging at all.

                  March riding

Remember last March Mo. Mid March it was 28 C for a whole week. I rode the crap out of the LH for the whole week. Then had to put it back in the shop and get out the snow blower till 2cd week of April.

                      Spring

I rode Yami throughout the winter, with just a short break of about 3 weeks, when I needed the truck to pick up stuff. Will be going down to Victoria and back most every weekend in March. About 75 miles one way from here.
