  • Dream Machines 2013

Just a heads up for anyone on the West Coast! The Dream Machines will be April 27 and 28 this year. This is a MUST GO if you are a gear head, or just like any kind of engine. It is at the Half Moon Bay Airport about 25 miles South of San Francisco on California highway 1. The link: www.miramarevents.com/dreammachines/ Special Ed and I will be there, showing our XS1100's, and we welcome anyone who would like to ride out and see a great show to come on out. You can show for one or both days, or just ride out and try to see everything in one day.
I would like to see how many bikes we can get together for this, as there are always too many HD's, and not really enough of the other brands....
Post or PM, and we will try to get something together. Ed and I will probably stay just North of the show, as the rooms are "cheaper"(this IS a misnomer!).

Time to bump this up front again! Please take a look, and if you think you can make it, let Special Ed or myself know! If we can get a few XS1100's, we will get the banner once again.

I will be there. And hopefully with a newly purchased XS if I can manage it. I'm combing wherever I can find right now.
      Looking for an XS

      79 XS1100SF (RIP)
      - stock standard headers(stupid PO), slip-on after-market mufflers.
      - after-market rear shocks (PO installed)
      - no airbox, POD filters

      Misery remembered is ADVENTURE!

Let me know if you need any parts, as I have quite a few spares. Also, if you can bring anything over the hill that needs work, I can help some weekends.

One more bump! ONE WEEK TO GO!!! I have the banner, Special Ed and I are ready to ride, and we need a few more XS bikes! XS1100, XS650, XJ900, etc. This will be a good time, and a chance to see some one of a kind "art vehicles" of all types. My cell number is in the top right, just put the numbers together, in case you need information.

            I'm going!

I on my XJ and my Son-in-law on his '02 Intruder are coming. Is there a particular place XS'ives gather (besides the beer garden) to show our wares?
"Galaxy" 1982 XJ1100J, 1983 XV handlebars, new fusebox, homemade SS wind screen and SS muffler heat shields, homemade grab bar extension and luggage rack. XS750 140 mph speedo, '81 Venture oil cooler, V-Max ACCT, Yahman YICS Eliminator, 1st and 2nd gear Dremel fix.

When you ride in the gate, the motorcycles will probably show on the South end of the taxiway. Just ride toward the docks, and look for the motorcycles, and the banner. If he is there this year, we will probably be parked near the "Elvis" bike once again. My plan is to be there at 8:00am so we can get a good spot and set up.
              See you there!

                Met some members!

Met up with Diver Ray and Special Ed on Saturday. Saw some cool stuff, mean machines, and tall Redwoods. Also, Special Ed is most definately NOT a poser!
