I recently put a voltmeter (not fancy like yours) and oil pressure gauge in the fairing of my bike. Interesting to see how things effect the electrical system (lights, signals, different RPM's).
Oil pressure gauge isn't hooked-up yet. I need to remove the carbs to get the oil light gauge out. I'll then put a 'T' in the oil passage and reinstall the oil light sender and the oil gauge sender. Gauge wire is in the fairing wiring harness so when I remove the fairing (for spirited summer riding) I'll still have the stock light.
