Snow is a 4 letter word
Thats all really a lot worse than many realize. When you have snow piled up against the house if a quick thaw or rain comes along and you do not clean off the roof it caves in. The water can puddle against the house and flood in. If you have any wood sidding or doors they warp not a good thing. The slow melt can get under stuco threw miniture cracks freeze at night and slab off the outside. Many people in the south just think you shovel a path to the car and it simply melts away later just like people in the North do not understand water from storms can sit there for several months. Snow that deep provides a continual opportunity for disaster. Hopes and prayers to those in NewEngland. To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

although impressive amounts, they are in the snow belt of upstate N.Y. and are used to that amount of snow, unlike Ct and Boston. I've seen massive amounts of snow(halfway up 1st floor windows) in Saranac Lake area, and they don't blink an eye, just clear snow and go about there buisness,I'm sure you see your share up your way to,Wade. We used to see alot, but in the last 10 yrs.,not so much.Which is fine with me.FOXS-XS11SG
