  • Step Away From The Bike

My girlfriend just completed the motorcycle training course and now has her endorsement. She was eyeing my project 80S. Can you lower it? Is it to big for me? (She is 5'2"). Does it have to much power? Answers, no, yes, yes. Got her a 80 Kaw 440LTD. So far, so good. The only drag is that 440 runs out of wheaties quick when we ride. Ok for a trainer. Next up, 650 Maxium?, 1100 Virago?
    When a 10 isn't enough, get a 11. 80g Hardbagger

My sife just finished the riders course (and passed) on Sunday. She is only 5' and the xs is way to big for her, so I got her an Intruder 800. (She doesn't even mind the V-twin vibration.)

Iwasworking on Wife's XS750 and she tookmy 1100 to work. She's 5'6". How can I raise the seat so her feet won't reach the ground and she'll leave it alone?

Pat, you need make sure you've got the 17" rear wheel, put on some 14" shocks, and drop the fork tubes as low as possible in the triple trees. Then, cut the heels off of SWMBO's riding boots and you should be safe...

I was also considering an air cushion on the seat inflated to oh ..... 100 PSI
